You can upload video information directly to a computer system via the Dazzle equipment.
The Dazzle Digital Video Creator 150 is an external USB device that allows you to directly import audio and video signals from equipment such as a VCR or digital video camera. The Dazzle equipment functions with the Pinnacle video editor, giving you all the necessary import options for obtaining the video and audio information. Once all the equipment is connected, you just need to launch the import feature in the video editor to begin uploading.
1. Plug the USB data cable running from the rear of the Dazzle Digital Video Creator 150 into a USB port on the computer system.
2. Insert the driver installation CD into the disc drive of the computer. Once the installation wizard loads onto the screen, follow the prompts to install the driver onto the computer.
3. Connect the video device to your Dazzle Digital Video Creator 150. If using a digital video camera, plug the FireWire cable into the FireWire port on the camera, then insert the other cable into the FireWire port on the Dazzle device. If using an analog device, plug the RCA audio/video cables into the “Video Out” ports on the device (such as a VCR) then insert the free ends into the “Video In” ports on the Dazzle device.
4. Launch Pinnacle and select the “Import” option. Choose “Dazzle Digital Video Creator 150″ as the import option, then click “Record” and the Pinnacle video editor begins to import the video footage from your connected device.
