Transfer Video On A Motorola Droid

Connect your Droid to your computer to transfer your video footage.

The Motorola Droid is a powerful device with extremely high-resolution capabilities. This type of resolution means outstanding picture and video playback quality. Take your photos and your video with your Motorola Droid, and then transfer the files onto your computer for easy editing.


1. Turn on your Motorola Droid by pressing the “Power/Unlock” button on the top right side of the device.

2. Insert the USB end of the data cable into an open slot on your PC or laptop.

3. Insert the other smaller end of the USB data cable into the corresponding port on the Motorola Droid.

4. Download the Motorola Software called Motorola Media Link from the link provided in the Resource section.

5. Install and open the Motorola Media Link program.

6. Complete the initial registration process.

7. Click on “Utilities” on the top menu bar and select “Handset Connection Wizard.”

8. Connect your Motorola Droid by following the on-screen prompts on your PC from the Motorola Media Link connection wizard.

9. Click the “Video” tab on the top menu bar.

10. Select and open your Motorola Droid handset from the bottom of the left sidebar.

11. Click the “Options” button and select “Import to Library.”

12. Browse to and select the desired video file on your PC that you wish to upload to your Motorola Droid.

13. Press “OK” to convert your video file and upload it to your Motorola Droid. You may now disconnect your device and view your transferred video files by going to the “Gallery” application on your Motorola Droid.
