Subtitles In The Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 Suite

Add subtitles to a movie using Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 Suite.

Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 Suite offers a number of options for saving video files along with any accompanying data such as audio tracks or subtitles. The video editing is composed of two separate utilities, CineMagic and VideoWave, but you can edit the files created by one in the other. CineMagic is more hands off, creating the video files for you, while VideoWave allows for the creation of completely customized movies. Video Copy & Convert is also available for saving already existing movie files and creating movie compilations.

1. Launch Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 by double-clicking on the desktop icon or locating the program in the Windows “Start” menu. The “Roxio Central” window opens.

2. Select “Home” in the panel on the left-hand side of the screen, then “Applications” from the sub menu. This opens a list of all the applications available on the right side of the screen.

3. Click on “Video Copy and Convert” in the panel on the right-hand side of the screen, or “VideoWave” for a self-made movie.

4. Click the “Video Compilation” button in Video Copy & Convert. For a self-made movie in VideoWave begin adding content to the movie using the “Add Photo/Video” option in the “Add Content” pane at the top left of the VideoWave main window.

5. Click “Add Movies” in the “Source” pane for Video Copy & Convert and select the movie or movies you want added to the compilation.

6. Click “Language Options” in the left-hand panel of the Video Copy & Convert main window to include subtitles and select the audio and subtitle languages. This option is only available for movies copied from a DVD in the DVD-Video format. Select the “Add text effect” from the “Add Content” pane in the VideoWave main window to create your own subtitles in your self-made movie.
