Save A Chapter In Power Director 7

Add chapters before your burn your movies using PowerDirector.

PowerDirector 7 is a consumer level video-editing application offered by Cyberlink. While it does not have the full range of tools and features you might find in a program like Adobe Premiere Pro, it is still a powerful application with many uses. One thing home videographers might use it for is to burn their edited video to a DVD. An important aspect of creating a DVD is including chapters. PowerDirector supplies templates that make this quite simple.

Instructions

1. Open PowerDirector. Then, open a project you have completed all of the editing for that you want to burn to a DVD.

2. Go to the top and click on the “Create Disc” button. A menu template appears. You can choose this template, or you can select from one of the others offered.

3. Click on the “Modify” tab to get to the “Menu Designer.” Click on the dropdown menu to go to the “Chapter” section. Here, you can add chapter buttons and change their appearance and text fonts. Click “OK.”
