Adobe Premiere Pro is a popular modern editing system. It allows people to quickly and effectively put together material from original or outside sources into music videos, trailers and short films. However, if you are using pre-existing material, you may have to import the material into Premiere Pro. Read on to learn import videos to Adobe Premiere Pro.
1. Open Adobe Premiere Pro by going to the “Start” menu or by double-clicking the icon on your desktop. If there is no icon on your desktop, you can create a shortcut to Adobe Premiere which makes it more easily accessible.
2. Go to the “File” bar at the top left hand side of the screen. Click on “Import” under that heading.
3. Find the file you want to import and click on it. When you save files, remember to which folder you save them to make this step easier. In order to choose that file in Adobe Premiere Pro, you can either double click on it or click it once and then the “Open” option should become available.
4. Wait for your selection to appear in the project window on the top left hand side of the screen. It should appear under the same name as you labeled it in the folder.
