Convert Wmv To 3gpp

WMV stands for “Windows Media Video” and it’s a video file format you can watch on programs like Windows Media Player. The file format “3gpp” is a video format commonly used on cellphones. You may not be able to use your WMV file on your cellphone since they aren’t always compatible. If this is the case, you can convert your WMV to 3Gpp so you can use it on your phone.

Instructions

1. Download a conversion program. An example is “3GPP Video Convert.” Click on the “Free Download” link and then hit “Save As.”

2. Open the installation file for your converter by double-clicking on it. this will take you through installation where you’ll choose a directory for your program.

3. Begin the program when ready by right-clicking on the shortcut for it and choosing “open.” Click on the “Add file” button in the main program screen, which is often an icon of a plus symbol or a folder. A browse window will appear; find your WMV file and double-click on it.

4. Click on the “Profile” combobox and make sure “3Gpp” is selected. Click on the “Browse” button next to “Destination” to choose a folder for the newly converted file. Click on the “Convert” button, usually at the top of the screen, to convert to 3GPP.
