You can burn Web videos to DVD on any computer with a DVD-R drive and the correct software.

The Web is full of interesting videos, from pure entertainment to educational programs. Sometimes viewing them on the Web is not the most appropriate means for your situation, however. In these cases, it is useful to know burn Web videos to a DVD, so you can enjoy your favorite videos wherever and whenever you want.


1. Download the Web videos you want to burn to a DVD. You can usually do this by right-clicking on the video and selecting “Save file as” from the pop-up menu. For Flash animations, either copy the file from the temporary Internet files folder if using Internet Explorer; or opening the “Page Info” window in Firefox, selecting the .SWF Flash file from the list of files and clicking “Save as.”

2. Open your DVD video editing software. Click “File” and then “Open” (or simply click the “Add video files” button if there is one in your program) and select the Web videos you downloaded to import them into your video editing session. Edit the videos if you need to, then click the “Export” button, or select “Save as” from the “File” menu. Save the videos in DVD Video format.

3. Close your video editing software. Insert your blank DVD-R into your DVD burner. Open your DVD burning software and create a new DVD Video session. Drag the DVD video files you just created into the “VIDEO_TS” folder of the video session. Click the “Burn” button. Name the DVD by typing a title into the “label” box. Click “Okay” to burn your Web videos to DVD.
