Burn a DVD Using WinDVD

WinDVD is software that is made by a company called InterVideo, now owned by Corel. It has a variety of different features, such as playback of videos, recording from a TV tuner and even burning DVDs.

1. Load WinDVD by opening the “Start” menu, selecting “All Programs,” and then locating the program shortcut.

2. Locate the bin that says “Drag and Drop Clip Here.” Take your video clips that you are wanting to burn to DVD and drag them to that bin. Click “Save Movie” and this will save the movie to your hard drive.

3. Click on the “Add Menu” tab and you will be given a variety of options for your DVD menu, including background music, pictures and chapters.

4. Locate and click on the “Make Movie” tab. On this tab, select “Burn to Disc” and make sure the arrow under “Burn to Disc” is selected. Choose how fast you want the DVD burned, and then click on the “Next” arrow. On this screen, you will choose the quality of your video from low to high. After that, click “Start” to begin the DVD-burning process.
